How You're Helping:
Every minute, six children die in the developing world because they do not have access to basic medicines—treatments that cost less than a cup of coffee. You can help.
Women in Uganda and Kenya apply and are trained to become Community Health Promoters.
Once working, each woman carries over 60 health products with her. She earns a living caring for 800 people in her community.
With a focus on keeping pregnant moms and kids healthy, data shows these women are reducing child mortality by over 25%!
We want to train 100 women to become Community Health Promoters this Mother's Day. Together, they will be caring for 80,000 people in 100 communities throughout Kenya and Uganda.
Every $2,000 we raise trains one woman to work in a community currently without access to a skilled health care professional. She will earn a living caring for 800 people.
Every $100 donated will provide 40 people with access to health care.
