No parent should watch their baby die of hunger. Especially because solutions exist and they are affordable. But how do you get these solutions to communities? It starts by creating jobs locally.
Hand-outs help, but creating jobs builds thriving communities. So we decided to start a charity like no other. One that "adds" impact by supporting "ventures" that solve social problems (see what we did there?).
From well mechanics fixing broken wells to healthcare workers caring for newborns, each job you create is essential. You give parents the dignity of a paycheck and the community a skilled worker who has the expertise to solve social problems for good.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, our movement has grown. Together, over 10,000 of us have helped create over 2,000 jobs in the last decade. Those people are now self-sufficient. Most importantly, they are heroes in their communities. Thanks to their hard work, they are helping 2 million neighbors each day.
But, we're just getting started. And with COVID-19 making things worse (especially for women), we need your help to scale quickly.
