Christian oversees all marketing efforts for true[X], a technology company building the next generation of attention-based video ad products and capabilities for the premium video ecosystem. He has worked with Joe Marchese (former president, Advertising Revenue, Fox Networks Group), Pooja Midha (president, true[X]), and other key execs across both companies.
In the past 12 years, Christian has worked at three companies, led two company rebrands, and managed and executed the strategic marketing and communications plan for six (6) company mergers & acquisitions. Christian has spent the last 20+ years immersed in the world of marketing and communications, during which time he has been at the forefront in developing digital brand reputation strategies from a 360-degree approach, working with multidisciplinary teams (media buying & planning, creative, strategy) to develop campaigns that connect and engage consumers both online and off.
Prior to true[X], Christian spent his professional career on the agency-client side of the business, most recently at MRY (Publicis) as SVP, Marketing, where he rebranded the agency from Mr Youth to MRY, helped spearhead and establish the social media department, and worked with leadership through two acquisitions (LBI and Digitas respectively). Prior to MRY, Christian worked for 5 years at Deep Focus (’07-‘11), as VP, Social Media, Corporate Comms. While there, he oversaw many industry campaign “firsts” on behalf of the agency and its clients. He also managed all corporate communications, working with at the time reporters that included the likes of Abby Klaassen (current NYC president, 360i); Jon Steinberg (founder, Cheddar); Brian Morrissey (President and Editor-in-Chief, Digiday) among others.
Christian is passionate about all things digital that help to inform, educate, and connect people and cultures. He is a world traveler, a self-professed foodie, obsessed with NYC sports, and practices Mixed Martial Arts & Hot Yoga in his spare time. Christian was named on the 2017 AdWeek 50 top execs across Marketing, Media and Technology, is a founding board member of i.d.e.a. Initiative, is on the board (and vice-chair, east coast) for the AAF (American Advertising Federation), and serves as an advisor to Social Media Week and Overture Global.
