Azara is married to the chief’s son and has four children, including an infant. She works as a community farming supporter, and was also honored to be selected by the village chief as a borehole operator to ensure her community has clean drinking water.
Before, Azara farmed maize and shea nut but could not earn enough to cover her family’s needs.
Now she earns a stable income that helps her provide food and save for school fees. She feels supported by the chief and her community.
Azara hopes to see her children succeed in school and to continue supporting her community.
