Francis is married and has two children, ages 4 and 7. He became a KickStart Irrigation Agent in January 2025.
Before joining KickStart, Francis farmed manually near the river. He carried heavy buckets of water and struggled with low yields despite living close to water.
Today Francis supports five farmers by renting them pumps, expanded his livestock, owns a boda, and runs a car wash. With his improved farming, he can also pay school fees for his children.
He dreams of expanding his farming, livestock, and businesses while continuing to improve his family’s life and supporting his children’s education.
