Samuel is married to Elizabeth and together they have children ranging from high school age down to grade 1. He is a fish farmer. He uses the irrigation pump to move water between his fish ponds and irrigate his growing farm.
Before using the pump, Samuel struggled to transfer water between ponds and relied only on fish farming.
Now he has expanded from 4 to 8 ponds and added a large kale farm. Elizabeth notes that youth in their community now see farming more positively.
Samuel hopes to grow his farm to a larger scale, invest in his children’s education, and continue with both fish and vegetable farming.
