Thomas is married and has two children, ages 21 and 12. He is an organic farmer and Irrigation Agent connected with KickStart through One Acre Fund.
Before the pump, Thomas watered his crops manually and depended on unreliable rainfall.
Now he uses his pump for his own farm and rents it to four others. His income supports his family, and he shares the benefits with his neighbors.
Thomas hopes to grow his farm, support more farmers, and continue organic farming to keep his family healthy.
